Students need to have the mentality to work for the interest of the country. Moreover, students should be polite. Society should stand by the people. This mindset should be developed from student life. This should be the main goal of student life. Only then will there be success in human life. Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha said this while meeting with the students of various colleges of Tamil Nadu including IIT, Madras in Conference Hall No. 2 at the Secretariat yesterday. The students studying in various colleges of Tamil Nadu, Dean of Tripura NIT Dr. Prof. RS Panua, Prof. (Dr.) RN Rai, Director of NIT Agartala Prof. Harish Kumar Sharma along with professors of IIT Madras were present during the interaction. OSD to the Chief Minister Parmananda Sarkar Banerjee was also present in the meeting.

In the meeting, Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha also said that students are the main machinery for building the country. Today’s students will take the country to the peak of development. Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said that the world will be governed by knowledge in the future. Students must have the mindset to acquire that knowledge. Today these students are the main driving force of the country.

The Chief Minister said that there was a time when there was an effort to bind every person in political bonds in the state of Tripura. Now that situation has ended. Man has found his identity. Free will exists in every human being. The Chief Minister urged the students to move forward with determination and focus on their goals.

During the interaction, the students discussed their state’s own culture, Tripura’s rich culture, tourism sector, unity in diversity in India, Tripureshwari temple, folk culture of the state and folk dance Dhamail also came up.
