The Tripura Pradesh Congress launched its manifesto for the impending Lok Sabha elections. Led by All India Congress SC Cell Chairman Rajesh Lilothia and TPCC president Asish Kumar Saha, the event saw the unveiling of the party’s commitment to ‘Nyay’ (Justice) through its ‘five pillars’ at the State Congress headquarters in Agartala,

Encouraging Tripura residents to support I.N.D.I.A bloc candidates Asish Kumar Saha for the West Tripura seat and Rajendra Reang for the East seat, Congress emphasized justice in key sectors: ‘Yuva Nyay’, ‘Nari Nyay’, ‘Kisan Nyay’, ‘Shramik Nyay’, and ‘Hissedari Nyay’.

Addressing the media, Rajesh Lilothia lambasted the BJP-led government, accusing it of pushing the country towards the brink of destruction through alleged misgovernance, anti-people policies, and price hikes. The unveiling of the manifesto signals Congress’s firm resolve to champion social justice and inclusive development in Tripura.

Elaborating on other manifesto promises outlined in ‘Nyay Patra’, Lilothia affirmed that Congress would reserve 50% of central government jobs for women by 2025 and ensure recognition for LGBTQIA+ couples. Additionally, the party would prioritize MSP for farmers, youth employment, and overall development.
