Two-day 20th State-Level Buisu Festival 2022 will be held at Hokutwisa English Medium Higher Secondary School ground in Dhumucherra under Longtharai Valley of Dhalai district on April 13 and 14. The event being organized with the initiative of Tripura Chubalai Buthu will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb at 4 pm where Minister of State for Jal Shakti and Tribal Affairs Bishweswar Tudu will be gracing the event as the chief guest. MP Rebati Tripura, Tribal Welfare Minister Mevar Kumar Jamatia, Food Minister Manoj Kanti Deb, ICA Minister Sushanta Choudhury, Samajpati of Tripura Society Birendra Tripura, former MP Jitendra Choudhury, MLA Dhananjoy Tripura etc., will remain present as special guests at the event.
The two-day festival will be celebrated in a grand manner followed by cultural programmes, traditional games and sports, awareness-based seminar, blood donation camp and cultural exhibition. Stalls will put up by different departments carrying information about various departmental activities and schemes. The two-day festival will be presided over by President of Tripura Chubalai Buthu Sachnidra Tripura. High Level Committee and executive committee has ben formed for the successful conduction of the event.
Royal Scion Pradyot Kishore Manikya will be inaugurating the closing ceremony on April 14 at 6pm. Minister of State for Development of North Eastern Region B. L. Verma will remain present as the chief guest. CEM, TTAADCPurna Chandra Jamatia, MP Rebati Tripura will remain present as special guests at the event. MLA and Chairman of Manu Block Advisory Committee Diba Chandra Hrangkhawl will will remain present as the guest of honour.
