During his two-day North Tripura visit Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha launched several projects and opened new buildings, interacted with students as well as also participated actively in ‘Ghar Ghar BJP’ campaigns.

The Chief Minister had spent time by interacting with students of Dharmanagar Government Degree College where he stressed on the need of the youngsters active participation in Drugs Free Tripura campaign to build a healthy society and future. He asked the students to join the NSS and take part in extracurricular activities.

Dr Saha also inaugurated Jubarajnagar Sub-Divisional Office of Rural Development department and market stalls under BADP at Haflong where he gavedetails of the government’s pro people steps that were taken during the BJP rule..

Chief Minister also joined “Ghar Ghar BJP” campaign where he received huge response among the people during the campaign.

“Today received huge response from the people during “Ghar Ghar BJP” Abhiyan under booth no- 19 of Bagbasa Mandal. After seeing such spontaneous response, I am sure that BJP will form the government again with majority,” he tweeted.

Earlier the Chief Minister in a programme said basic services for the people are being implemented with transparency in the state

“The facilities of different schemes and services of the government are being catered to the people of the state with transparency. The government is working for the welfare of people of all sections regardless of political affiliation. The government is working with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas’ policy”, he said after laying foundation stone of new DM office at Batrashi in Dharmanagar and after inaugurating Paver Block Road, BADP scheme and District-Level Sushason Mela and Lavarthi Sanmelan yesterday.

The Chief Minister said, all kinds of schemes and services of central and state government are being delivered rapidly to the people through Prati Ghare Sushason campaign. It is to be noted that the new DM office will be built at the cost of 23 crore 45 lakh 50 thousand rupees. 9 crore 47 lakh rupees will be spent on 39 BADP schemes in the district. The length of 102 Paver Block and CC road is 50.68 km.

      Other dignitaries present in the programme were Deputy Speaker of Tripura Legislative Assembly Biswa Bandhu Sen, MLA Binoy Bhusan Das, MLA Malina Debnath and TIDC Chairman Tinku Roy. Later, the Chief Minister went on to visit Piyaracherra Tea Estate area of Kadamtala block of Dharmanagar sub-division yesterday in his North Tripura district visit. There he had interacted with Ranibari tea garden workers.
