The Chief Minister of Tripura, Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha, chaired a District-Level Review Meeting to evaluate the progress of development works in the Gomati district. The meeting, which was held at the conference hall of Gomati Zilla Parishad, was attended by various officials and public representatives of the district. During the meeting, the Chief Minister emphasized the need to prioritize education, health, agriculture, and power sectors for the overall development of the state. He also advised officials to work in mission mode and ensure that public issues are resolved quickly.
The Chief Minister directed the Secretaries and Directors of different departments to conduct at least one District-Level Review Meeting every month to monitor the progress of various schemes of the central and state government and ensure their benefits are delivered to the people. The meeting covered various schemes, including MGNREGA, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, Power, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Water Resources, Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission, Health & Family Welfare, Education, Agriculture, Forest, Urban Development, Horticulture & Soil Conservation, and Social Welfare & Social Education.
To showcase the achievements of the district, Gomati District Magistrate Govekar Mayur Ratilal presented a documentary on the district’s progress through a power point presentation. The Chief Minister also inaugurated the “Amar Sarkar” Control Room at Gomati Zilla Parishad office and visited the Phulkumari Model Anganwadi Centre under Matabari constituency, where he distributed chocolates to the children.
The Chief Minister’s focus on the overall development of the state and the need to prioritize public issues was well received by officials and public representatives present at the meeting. The officials assured the Chief Minister of their continued efforts to deliver the benefits of various schemes of the central and state government to the people.
