The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting organized a special screening of the 100th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popular radio programme, “Mann Ki Baat,” at the Raj Bhavan in Agartala. The event was attended by eminent people from various fields, public representatives, and people from the state whose work has been appreciated in the previous episodes of the programme. The Governor of Tripura, Shri Satyadeo Narain Arya, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest while the Chief Minister of Tripura, Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha, was present as the guest of honour.

The screening of the programme was followed by a felicitation ceremony where Chief Minister Dr. Saha felicitated the Padmashree Awardees of Tripura, including gymnast Dipa Karmakar and eminent social worker Bikram Bahadur Jamatia. The Chief Minister praised the programme and said that the people of Tripura eagerly wait for the last Sunday of every month to listen to PM Modi’s Mann Ki Baat programme. He added that the programme is like Ramayana and Mahabharat for the people of India.

Dr. Saha further praised PM Modi’s efforts to connect with the common people through the programme and said that it was not possible during his Chief Minister tenure. He also said that PM Modi is now recognized as the greatest leader in the world, and it is a happy moment for all. The Chief Minister also expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for organizing the special screening of the programme.

Apart from the felicitation ceremony, an exhibition was also organized by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting at Raj Bhavan on the 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat.
