CII business delegation led by Sanjiv Puri in Sri Lanka to strengthen bilateral trade & investment ties –

A high-powered business delegation from the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has arrived in Sri Lanka to strengthen bilateral trade and investment ties. The 15-member team is led by Sanjiv Puri, Chairman & MD of ITC Ltd and Immediate Past President of CII. The visit, from June 29 to July 2, follows the high-level business forum held during the Sri Lankan President’s State Visit to India.
 
The delegation will hold meetings with Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, key cabinet ministers, the Board of Investment, and top industry leaders. A major highlight will be a CEO roundtable to explore avenues for enhancing economic cooperation, trade, and industrial partnerships. The visit aims to build on the recent momentum in India-Sri Lanka ties and open new doors for collaborative ventures across sectors such as manufacturing, services, and technology.
