Today marks the commencement of the revered Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand. On the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, the sacred portals of Kedarnath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri have been flung open to pilgrims seeking blessings.
The portals of Kedarnath Dham opened this morning with Vedic chants and traditional rituals, heralding the initiation of the Char Dham Yatra.
Among the throngs of devotees , Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, underscoring the government’s steadfast commitment to enhancing facilities for pilgrims, both domestic and international.
Following the inaugural ceremony at Kedarnath, the gates of Yamunotri Shrine were unveiled at 10:29 AM, followed by the opening of Gangotri Dham doors at noon.
