Union Minister for AYUSH Sarbananda Sonwal who is ona one day tour to Tripura said, the central government is ready to set up 50 more AYUSH Health and Wellness Centre in the state.
Besides that, he announced setting up a 50-bedded AYUSH hospital in the state spending 15 crore rupees. However, the state government will provide the necessary land for the construction of AYUSH Hospital. Union Minister of AYUSH also mentioned the immense importance of AYUSH in keeping the body free from diseases. He also lauded the Chief Minister for the success of Covid-19 vaccination, improving law and order in Tripura and the special role of the state government in combating drugs.
Sonowal said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given importance to providing further medical services to the people through AYUSH. He lauded Prime Minister’s tireless efforts for AYUSH having gained importance not only in the country but also abroad. He said, the Prime Minister has introduced AYUSH all over the world.
Union Minister further said, the Prime Minister has given special importance to the overall development of the northeastern states, which is why the central government has paid special attention to the development of Tripura. The proposals being made by the state government to the central government will be considered with utmost sincerity.
