In Canada, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stated that his country is ready to deliver a “purposeful, forceful but reasonable, immediate” response if U.S. President Donald Trump imposes tariffs on Canadian imports.
While speaking at a meeting of the Council on Canada-U.S. Relations in Toronto, Trudeau said that Canada is prepared for any scenario. Earlier, the White House has confirmed that President Donald Trump will be slapping aggressive tariffs on major US trading partners including, Canada, China and Mexico from today.
