The 70th foundation day celebrations of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) concluded in New Delhi yesterday. Addressing the gathering, RSS chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat emphasised that BMS is not just a labour union, but a values-based movement rooted in national, industrial, and workers’ welfare. Recalling the beginning of BMS, Dr. Bhagwat said, the Majdoor Sangh now stands vindicated in its vision of Workers Unite the World. He highlighted the need to adapt to technological changes without losing respect for labour.
Union Labour Minister Mansukh Mandaviya also joined the celebration and praised BMS’s commitment to tangible outcomes and its integral role in nation-building. In a social media post, Mr Mandaviya said that under the leadership of Narendra Modi, the government is making many efforts with the mantra of ‘Shramev Jayate’ to ensure the welfare of our working brothers and sisters.
