The BJP today hit out at the Opposition, saying that ahead of the Monsoon Session of Parliament, there are visible conflicts and divisions within the I.N.D.I.A. bloc. In response to a question, BJP Spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi told the media in New Delhi that the Aam Aadmi Party has already announced that it is no longer in the opposition alliance. He urged the opposition to use the forthcoming session of Parliament positively, effectively, and constructively.
Mr Trivedi also criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his social media post in connection with a money laundering case in which the Enforcement Directorate has filed a chargesheet against his brother-in-law, Robert Vadra. He questioned Mr Gandhi whether he had made these remarks in his personal capacity or as the Leader of the Opposition (LoP), a constitutional position. Mr Trivedi alleged that Mr Gandhi misused his position as the LoP to shield his family from their wrongdoings.
