BJP today reiterated its commitment to road and infrastructure development in the Delhi NCR area while highlighting several projects initiated by the Central government in this direction.
Briefing media in New Delhi, Senior Party Leader and Union Minister Harsh Malhotra informed that they had requested the central government to connect the Central Vista through a metro line which can serve the working commuters and curb the traffic. He added that expressways should be built to connect to major highways in the city to address the passing traffic from Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.
The Minister also said that the BJP government at the Centre is focused towards curbing traffic and pollution in the city.
