BJP Foundation Day Rally: Biplab Deb Slams Communists, Cites Leadership Crisis

Must Read

Biplab Kumar Deb targets the Communist Party for weak leadership and historical failures at BJP’s foundation day rally in Tripura.

Biplab Kumar Deb, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament representing West Tripura, launched a fierce and detailed critique of the Communist Party during a public rally held on Sunday. The rally was organized to commemorate the foundation day of the BJP and saw the presence of several party leaders, workers, and supporters who gathered in large numbers to celebrate the occasion and hear Deb’s address.

In his speech, Deb categorically ruled out any possibility of the Communist Party making a political comeback in the state of Tripura. He stated that the people had already rejected the party due to its prolonged period of misrule and betrayal of public trust. “The Communist Party has lost the confidence of the people of Tripura. Their return to power is not just unlikely — it is impossible,” he asserted.

Delving into the ideological roots of communism, Deb said, “The genesis of the Communist movement in the world has been closely associated with violence and bloodshed. From its very beginning, the ideology has promoted class conflict and revolution through force. History has ample evidence to show that the implementation of communist principles has often come at the cost of peace, stability, and development.”

He went on to criticize the 25-year-long rule of the Communist Party in Tripura, describing it as a period marked by stagnation, repression, and deception. According to Deb, during these years, the Communist leadership made numerous promises to the people—especially the youth—but failed to fulfill them. “They claimed to work for the welfare of the common people, but what did they actually do? They crushed the hopes of our youth, sabotaged the future of generations, and misled the masses with propaganda,” he said.

Deb accused the Communist regime of creating an atmosphere of fear and intimidation and said that their governance style had left a deep scar on the psyche of the people of the state. “The people have not forgotten the days when they had to live under fear, with limited opportunities and no freedom to express their views. This is why they gave a decisive mandate against the Communists, choosing development, democracy, and transparency under BJP rule,” he emphasized.

“Look at them now—there is no leader in the Communist camp who can inspire confidence or present a roadmap for Tripura’s progress. Their leadership crisis is evident, and the people can clearly see that”

Furthermore, Deb criticized the present state of the Communist Party, claiming that it lacked visionary leadership and direction. “Look at them now—there is no leader in the Communist camp who can inspire confidence or present a roadmap for Tripura’s progress. Their leadership crisis is evident, and the people can clearly see that,” he said.

He also extended his criticism to other political parties that lean toward leftist or communist ideologies, stating that none of them possess the strength or structure to pose a serious challenge to the BJP in Tripura. “Those who still cling to the outdated and failed ideology of communism are simply out of touch with today’s realities. They have no relevance in today’s Tripura, where people want growth, development, jobs, and peace,” he added.

The BJP MP concluded his speech by reiterating his party’s commitment to continuing the work of development in Tripura and urged party workers to stay united and focused on serving the people. He expressed confidence that under the leadership of the BJP, the state would continue to progress and emerge as a model of good governance in the region.

The rally, filled with chants of support for the BJP, was not only a celebration of the party’s foundation day but also a show of strength and a reaffirmation of the party’s resolve to keep the Communist Party out of power in Tripura permanently.
