BJP condemns attack on Tagore’s ancestral home in Bangladesh –

Must Read

BJP has condemned the incident of attack on Rabindranath Tagore’s ancestral home in Bangladesh, terming it a pre-planned act of violence.  Briefing media in New Delhi today, party spokesperson Sambit Patra said, Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore was not an ordinary person but a renowned personality in the world. He said it is unacceptable that such an international museum was not protected. He said the interim government of Bangladesh has not taken any action so far, and this is not appropriate. He said this house was declared a museum by the Government of Bangladesh, preserving the legacy of India’s heritage, where many of Rabindranath Tagore’s works were created. Mr Patra said that the BJP urges the world community, which values morality, culture, and creativity, to come together and strongly condemn the attack on Rabindranath Tagore’s ancestral house.
