The BJP has released the list of its nine candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections in Puducherry. The BJP has fielded A Namassivayam from Mannadipet seat, P M L Kalyanasundaram from Kalapet seat while G N S Rajasekaran will contest from Thirunallar and A Dineshan will be the party candidate from the Mahe Assembly Constituency.
The names of the candidates were finalised by the BJP Central Election Committee, which met in New Delhi on Wednesday in this regard. The polling for the 30 Member Puduchery Assembly will be held on 9th of April, while the counting of votes will take place on 4th of May.
