The Bharatiya Janata Party today accused senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of misbehaving with NDA MPs in the Parliament House Complex. Addressing a press conference at party headquarters, senior party leader and union minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan alleged that two BJP MPs got injured by the leader of the opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi. He added that BJP MP Pratap Sarangi was seriously injured and admitted to the hospital.

Mr Singh said that the party’s other MP, Mukesh Rajput, was also injured. He said it was an indecent act that a civilised society cannot accept. The minister said that tribal MP Phangnon Konyak was treated inappropriately, and she has complained about it to the chairman of the Rajya Sabha.

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi alleged that the BJP is trying to divert attention from issues like alleged bribery charges against the Adani Group and Home Minister remarks on Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. On the allegations levelled against him for misbehaving with the MPs, Mr. Gandhi said BJP MPs were standing in front of the entrance of the Parliament House, and they did not allow him to enter the House.
