Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb will attend the oath taking ceremony of Yogi Adityanath as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh on March 25 next.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and CMs of BJP-ruled states are scheduled to join the mega event in Lucknow.

Deb met Uttar Pradesh CM-designate Yogi Adityanath during the oath-taking ceremony of Uttarakhand Chief Minister. He congratulated Yogi for the historic win in the recent polls in Uttar Pradesh.

Later he wrote on Facebook, “Had the opportunity to meet with the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Yogi Adityanath Ji during the oath-taking ceremony of HCM Uttarakhand, Pushkar Dhami Ji. Extended best regards to him for a historic win in Uttar Pradesh.”

Deb on Wednesday attended the swearing-in ceremony of Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami. Deb extended greetings to Dhami who took oath as the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand for the second term.

“Attended the oath taking ceremony of HCM Uttarakhand Shri Pushkar Dhami Ji. May Maa Tripurasundari and baba kedarnath shower their choicest blessings upon him for a successful tenure ahead,” Deb wrote on Facebook.

The oath taking ceremony registered presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union ministers- Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, Rajnath Singh, Prahlad Joshi, BJP president JP Nadda, and chief ministers Shivraj Singh Chouhan (Madhya Pradesh), Manohar Lal Khattar (Haryana) and Himanta Biswa Sarma (Assam).

Meanwhile, Deb also met BJP national vice-president Jay Panda, party’s general secretary (Org) B.L. Santosh and national president of Yuba Morcha Tejasvi Surya.
