Former Tripura Chief Minister and West Tripura MP Biplab Kumar Deb attended an important meeting on Tuesday concerning the upcoming parliamentary delegation visit to Bhutan. The meeting was held at Committee Room No. 1 in Block A of the Parliament House Extension building in New Delhi.

According to information shared by the MP through a social media post, the discussions primarily focused on enhancing bilateral parliamentary cooperation between India and Bhutan. The meeting also emphasized the importance of strengthening the longstanding friendship and diplomatic relationship shared by the two neighboring nations.

Biplab Kumar Deb stated that the parliamentary delegation visit would play a significant role in deepening mutual understanding and cooperation at the political and parliamentary levels. The meeting reflected India’s continued commitment to maintaining strong regional partnerships and encouraging diplomatic engagement with Bhutan.

India and Bhutan have historically shared close strategic and diplomatic relations, marked by regular exchanges between political leaders, parliamentary representatives, and senior officials.
