Former Chief Minister and incumbent Rajya Sabha MP, Biplab Kumar Deb, made an appearance at the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) ‘Tiffin Baithak’ program held in the Barjala assembly constituency on Saturday. During the event, Deb engaged with party cadres and workers, aiming to motivate them in preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha election.
Accompanied by former MLA Dr. Dilip Das and other party leaders and workers from the constituency, Deb’s presence attracted a large number of women who joined the program, sharing homemade food amongst themselves.
Taking part in the ‘Tiffin Baithak’ event, Deb emphasized the achievements of the Narendra Modi-led government during its nine-year tenure at the center. He stated, “There is no alternative to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who receives praise and support from global leaders.”
Confident in the BJP’s ability to retain power in the upcoming Lok Sabha election under the leadership of PM Modi, Deb expressed his belief, saying, “The BJP will retain power under the leadership of PM Modi in the ensuing Lok Sabha election.”
Highlighting the progress made under PM Modi’s decisive leadership, Deb cited India’s emergence as the world’s fifth-largest economy within nine years, as well as its status as the fastest-growing economy. He emphasized the country’s rapid all-round development, attributing it to the strong leadership provided by PM Modi.
Regarding the ‘Tiffin Baithak’ program, Deb stated that its purpose was to strengthen the party at the grassroots level, fostering a strong relationship among party workers. The event aimed to build camaraderie and a sense of unity among BJP workers, ultimately bolstering the party’s foundation.
Deb’s focus on PM Modi’s leadership and the achievements of the central government aims to instill confidence among party workers and bolster the BJP’s prospects in the electoral contest.
