The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the schedule for the second phase of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. The details regarding the venues for the Playoffs will be shared at a later date.
The second phase will feature 50 matches across 12 cities, including Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, and Delhi, running from April 13 to May 24. In the opening match of the second phase, Sunrisers Hyderabad taking on Rajasthan Royals in Hyderabad, setting the tone for an exciting run of fixtures.
The second phase will feature eight double-headers. The first phase of the IPL will kick start tomorrow, with defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Sunrisers Hyderabad facing off at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
