Baloch Human Rights reveals 33 extrajudicial killings & 84 forced disappearance cases

Must Read

A human rights organisation today revealed that 33 cases of extrajudicial killings and 84 of forced disappearances were documented across Pakistan’s Balochistan in the month of June. A new report by Paank, the Baloch National Movement’s Human Rights Department, revealed that victims included students, poets, farmers, and activists, allegedly targeted for speaking out. The report accuses the Pakistani Army, Frontier Corps, Counter Terrorism Department, and state-backed death squads of systematic abductions, torture, and executions. Paank’s Balochistan Human Rights Report – June 2025 highlights a growing pattern of state repression, with 32 individuals reportedly subjected to physical and mental abuse. The findings underline a deteriorating human rights situation in the troubled province.
