India’s top Badminton stars PV Sindhu and Lakshya Sen will return to BWF Tour action at the Japan Masters Super 500 starting today. Sindhu will face Thailand’s Busanan Ongbamrungphan in the first round of women’s singles tomorrow. While Lakshya will be up against Malaysia’s Leon Jun Hao in the singles category at the Kumamoto Prefectural Gymnasium in Japan.
Gayatri Gopichand and Treesa Jolly pair will compete in the women’s doubles category. They will face Chinese Taipei’s Hsu Yin-Hui and Lin Jhih Yun in their opening match. The Japan Masters begins with qualification today and the Indian players will start their campaign tomorrow.
