In Taipei Open Badminton, Unnati Hooda, Devika Sihag, Tanvi Sharma and Kiran George have progressed to the Singles quarter-finals. However, Anmol Kharb and HS Prannoy crashed out in second round matches today. 
 
Unnati Hooda defeated Tanya Hemanth 21-19, 21-12 in an all-Indian tie. Tanvi Sharma defeated Indonesia’s Thalita Wiryawan 21-17, 22-20 to reach the last eight. Devika Sihag made it three Indians in the women’s singles quarters, beating Indonesia’s Ni Kadek Dhinda Pratiwi 21-16, 21-15. Devika and Unnati will face each other in the top eight. Kiran George kept the Indian challenge alive in men’s singles. He won the other all-Indian clash of the day against Tharun Mannepalli 21-15, 21-16.
