TET qualified candidates demand job

The TET qualified candidates hit the streets on Thursday demanding employment. They also sought a clarification from the government over the delay in the recruitment.

The TET qualified candidates assembled in front of the Shiksha Bhawan and met in deputation with the Teachers’ Recruitment Board of Tripura (TRBT) controller of examination Pratyush Ranjan Deb and demanded their TET certificate.

“Seven months have passed since we qualified TET but we have not yet received certificates. We are also being deprived of employment,” said Bishwajit Ghosh, one of the agitators.

The Assam government also conducted the TET seven months ago and already issued pass certificates to the qualified candidates while the recruitment process already started, he pointed out.

He expressed concern over the role of the Tripura government on Thursday and said, “Our government has been depriving us from getting employment. So, we are here today to know the desire of the government.”
