Asian stocks end in green; European indices also trading up

 
Most Asian stock market indices ended on a positive note today. Taiwan’s Taiex jumped 4.2 per cent, South Korea’s Kospi surged over three and a half per cent, Japan’s Nikkei 225 rose around 3.3 per cent, China’s Shanghai Composite added 0.8 per cent, and Singapore’s Strait Times gained half a per cent. In contrast, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index ended marginally lower. Major European indices were trading on a positive note today. Germany’s DAX added almost 0.3 per cent, while France’s CAC 40 as well as London’s FTSE 100 added over 0.1 per cent, when reports last came in.
