Major Asian stock markets displayed mixed trend today. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index fell 0.7 per cent, and China’s Shanghai Composite Index dipped around 0.2 per cent. On the other hand, South Korea’s Kospi Index rose over half a per cent and Singapore’s Straits Times Index added over 0.1 per cent. Meanwhile, Market in Japan was closed for a holiday.
Major European indices were trading in positive territory today. France CAC 40 was trading over 0.8 per cent up, Germany’s DAX added over 0.4 per cent, while London’s FTSE 100 rose 0.2 per cent up, when reports last came in.
