Major Asian stock markets closed mixed today. South Korea’s Kospi index fell 0.6 per cent, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index lost almost 0.4 per cent and Japan’s Nikkei 225 index dropped over 0.3 per cent. On the other hand, China’s Shanghai Composite Index added nearly 0.2 per cent and Singapore’s Straits Times Index remained flat with positive bias.
Major European indices were trading in positive territory today. Germany’s DAX added almost 0.3 per cent, while France CAC 40 as well as London’s FTSE 100, both rose marginally, when reports last came in.
