The other shooting team, comprising of Palak, Esha Singh and Divya Thadigol, won the silver medal in the 10m air pistol womens team event.

However, Tennis players Saketh Myneni and Ramkumar Ramanathan settled for silver after losing their gold medal final match.

In the major event so far India has won eight gold, 11 silver and 11 bronze medals.

India stands in the fourth position in the medals list after China, South Korea and Japan.
