The Indian Army shared the success of Operation Sindoor with the citizens and civil administration of Ferozpur by organising a special event ‘Ekta Shakti’, recently.
        Many Sarpanches, Panches, farmers, other civilians and officials of the district administration were appreciated and honoured by the Army for their significant support and contribution in providing essential services and security assistance during the ‘Operation Sindoor’.
        Among them was a 10-year-old ‘Youngest Warrior’ Master Shavan, who supported the army personnel deployed in the border villages.
        This enthusiastic young warrior said that he has learnt to help others from his school.      His father Sonu Singh and mother Santosh Rani were happy to be felicitated by the Indian Army. They said that Shavan, without caring for time, kept on providing essential eatables, day and night, to the army men deployed in their fields during the operation.       
        Speaking on the occasion, Major General RS Manral, General Officer Commanding of 7 Infantry Division, said that the vital contribution of the civil administration played a key role in making our operation successful. Their prompt response, regional knowledge, and ability to mobilise resources have helped us overcome various challenges. He said the Indian Army is deeply grateful for their continuous support and unwavering commitment.
        The residents of Ferozepur district expressed pride in being part of the ceremony and warmly appreciated the meaningful initiative by the Army. They pledged to work with dedication and unity, expressing unwavering love for the nation
