There is huge potential in the development of rural economy through animal husbandry in the state. Therefore, the government is working on specific plans to make the people of rural areas of the state self-reliant through animal husbandry. In this regard, Mukhyamantri Swanirbhar Parivar Yojana is taking a leading role. ARDD Minister Bhagaban Chandra Das said this while inaugurating the newly constructed two-storey building of Amtali Veterinary Hospital at Ballabpur Gram Panchayat of Dukli Block recently. Jail Minister RamPrasad Pal was present as the chief guest on the occasion. 60 lakh rupees have been spent on the construction of this two-storey Veterinary Hospital building.
At the programme,ARDD Minister said that ARDD is an important department for animal breeders. This department provides livestock development services to animal breeders. This building was built to provide services to animal breeders. Addressing as the Chief Guest at the programme, Jail Minister RamPrasad Pal said that the long-time dream of animal breeders of the region has been fulfilled by the inauguration of this veterinary hospital. Common people will get proper medical service for their animals from now onwards.
Chairman of Dukli Panchayat Samiti Ajay Kumar Das and Joint Director of Animal Resource Development Department Amitabh DasGupta spoke among others. Deputy Director of West Tripura District Animal Resource Development Office Dr. Subrata ShuklaDas gave the welcome address. Member of West Tripura Zilla ParishadBhulan Saha,Chairman of Suryamaninagar Gram Panchayat Bibha Sarkar (Das), Chairmanof Baghmara Gram PanchayatPampa Das (Debnath) and social worker Mattu Debnathwere present on the occasion.Chairman of BallabpurGram Panchayat Milan Das (Ray) presided over the programme.
