Andhra Pradesh has attracted over 11 lakh crore rupees in investments by signing MoUs with 400 companies at the ongoing CII Partnership Summit 2025 in Visakhapatnam. The projects are expected to create 13 lakh jobs. Most agreements were inked with the APCRDA and the Energy, Food Processing, Industry, IT, Trade and Municipal Administration departments. Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan inaugurated the two-day summit yesterday, organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry with the Centre and State governments. The theme this year is “Partners in Progress – India’s Roadmap to Viksit Bharat 2047.”

The State signed MoUs worth ₹4,000 crore with the AM Green Group, which will invest in a Green Aluminium Complex at Kakinada in Uppada. An MoU with Brookfield allows investments of up to 12 billion dollars, including a clean-energy-powered 3 gigawatt data centre and other renewable projects. Reliance will set up a 1 gigawatt AI data centre equipped with advanced processors.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, along with Union Ministers Piyush Goyal and K. Rammohan Naidu, oversaw the proceedings, met delegates, signed MoUs and initiated development works. The Chief Minister also virtually laid foundation stones for a 300-acre Drone City at Orvakal and India’s first twin Space Cities in the Sri Satya Sai and Tirupati districts. Andhra Pradesh and Singapore signed an MoU to launch a direct Vijayawada-Singapore flight and another to strengthen the State’s institutional capacities.
