All schools closed in Delhi for week

Must Read

Delhi government has announced that physical classes in all schools will be shut for a week in view of the air pollution. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal stressed that it is paramount to protect children from breathing toxic air and thus education will continue virtually in all schools.

He added that all government offices will be closed for one week.
The entire workforce will be working from home, which will significantly reduce vehicular movement in the national capital. He informed that construction activity will be on hold for 3 days from 14th to 17th November as weather forecasts are indicating a fatal pollution situation in that period.
He further announced that the Delhi Government is drafting a proposal on whether a lockdown can be imposed in Delhi and will place it in front of the court after consulting all stakeholders.
