All key Asian stocks ended lower on Monday (15th April 2024) except Shanghai Composite index which gained 1.24 percent.
Singapore’s Straits Times ended lower with a loss of 1.05 percent, Japan’s Nikkei-225 was 0.74 percent down,
Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index fell 0.73 percent while South Korea’s Kospi declined 0.43 percent.
On the other hand, major European markets exhibited mixed behaviour. Germany’s DAX gained 0.83 percent and France’s CAC rose 0.73 percent. London’s FTSE was trading 0.45 percent lower when reports last came in.
