Lucknow/IBNS: Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav Thursday said he wasnt invited to join Rahul Gandhis Bharat Jodo Yatra as BJP and the Congress were on the same boat while his party has a different ideology.
Yadavs comments came despite Congresss claim that it sent an invitation to Akhilesh to share the stage with Rahul Gandhi in its flagship event.
Bharat Jodo Yatra would resume after a break in Uttar Pradesh from January 3, 2023.
Addressing reporters in Lucknow, Yadav said, We have not received any invitation (for Bharat Jodo Yatra). The ideology of our party is different. BJP and Congress both are same.
