Chennai: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is gearing up for the launch of Aditya-L1 Solar Exploratory mission to study the Sun.

It is going to be Indias first space-based Indian observatory to study the Sun.

ISRO is expected to conduct the mission just more than a month after the launch of the lunar mission Chandrayaan-3.

ISRO will be using its reliable and workhorse launch vehicle PSLV for the Sun mission.

PSLV-C57/Aditya-L1 Mission:

Aditya-L1, the first space-based Indian observatory to study the Sun ??, is getting ready for the launch.

The satellite realised at the U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), Bengaluru has arrived at SDSC-SHAR, Sriharikota.
