Aam Aadmi Party today said that Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest has only strengthened and not weakened them. Senior AAP leader Gopal Rai, speaking to the media in New Delhi, said that despite their leader being in jail, the party continues to campaign strongly for Lok Sabha elections. The party also unveiled its election strategy, including door-to-door campaigning and roadshows planned for the final ten days of campaigning. Rai claimed that the Delhi government’s policies have benefited all sections of society, including women, the elderly, businessmen, and the working class.

The AAP, BJP, and Congress have intensified their campaigning in the national capital for the Lok Sabha polls. Rajasthan Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore will hold a roadshow in East Delhi in support of BJP candidate Harsh Malhotra; Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will address a public meeting in South Delhi in support of Ramvir Singh Bidhuri; and former Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar will address a public meeting in support of Manoj Tiwari in North East Delhi this evening. Congress candidate Udit Raj will hold public interaction programmes in different parts of the North-West Delhi Lok Sabha constituency today. The other two candidates for Congress, J. P. Agarwal and Kanhaiya Kumar, will campaign in different parts of their constituencies today. Out of the seven seats, the AAP will contest four seats, while Congress will contest three seats under the alliance. Delhi is scheduled to vote in the sixth phase on 25 of this month in the Lok Sabha elections.
