In the dying moments of the third quarter, Pakistan scored again from a penalty corner, making it 7-2. India dominated the final quarter, with goals from Shamsher Singh and Lalit Upadhyay, sealing a 9-2 victory.

Indias solid defence in the final quarter maintained the scoreline, securing their largest-ever win against arch-rivals Pakistan.
