He provided valuable insights into the physical, psychological, and social consequences of addiction. He also addressed common misconceptions about addiction and shared effective strategies for preventing and managing it.
“The objective of this program was to raise awareness about the harmful effects of addiction and provide students with the necessary support and guidance to overcome their dependencies” emphaisised by Malyaban who was also the Guest Speaker of this programme.
Deepto Chakraborty, Secretary of Sankalpa Charitable Trust said,” we are glad to inform that today was the first day of our forthcoming year long programme that held at Bijoy Kumar Girls High School. The Health Awareness Campaign will be organised in other schools as the Department of Education has given us a written consent. We are thankful to the Director of Knock A Doc of elderly care service to be a part of this campaign as their CSR activity.”
“With the increasing number of young students falling prey to substance abuse and mental health problems, the campaign aims to promote awareness about the issue and encourage students to seek help if needed. Roy Choudhury said, “ as a CSR activity many more private entities should come forward and acknowledge the need for such programs to be continued in the future. We are committed to continue this awareness campaign in all the schools throughout the year”.
Through this health awareness campaign, the Sankalpa Charitable Trust and Knock A Doc, have demonstrated their commitment to addressing the increasing health concerns amongst young students. Their collaborative efforts have facilitated the creation of a supportive environment that empowers students to seek help and overcome addiction and mental health concerns.
