In the World Boxing Championships, Mohammed Hussamuddin of India defeated Russia’s Savvin Eduard, 5-0 in a unanimous decision to enter into the 57 kg quarterfinals yesterday. He will take on Javier Ibanez of Bulgaria for a place in the semi-finals and an assured medal. Yesterday, Deepak Bohria defeated Olympic bronze medalist Saken Bibossinov 5-2 to go to the pre-quarterfinals of the 51-kg category.
