Tripura CM Dr. Manik Saha will launch three key youth-focused initiatives, including Seva First Innovation Challenge 2026, Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana and Digi-SAPNE 3.0, aimed at promoting innovation, digital empowerment, startups and entrepreneurship across the state.
Tripura is set to strengthen its focus on youth empowerment, digital connectivity, innovation and entrepreneurship with the launch of three major initiatives by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha in the state capital on Thursday.
Dr. Saha will inaugurate the Seva First Innovation Challenge 2026, launch the Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana for the academic year 2025-26 and unveil Digi-SAPNE 3.0 at Women’s College in Agartala. The programme is being organised by the Directorate of Information Technology as part of the state-wide Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, which is being observed from September 17 to October 17.
The three initiatives are focused on creating new opportunities for young people by encouraging innovative ideas, improving access to digital technology and supporting entrepreneurship. The government is seeking to strengthen an ecosystem where young innovators and aspiring entrepreneurs can receive support to develop their ideas and convert them into sustainable ventures.
A major highlight of the programme will be the launch of Digi-SAPNE 3.0, a startup acceleration initiative of AIC-SMUTBI being implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India. The initiative is expected to provide structured support to emerging startups through areas such as mentorship, innovation and business development.
The launch event will also highlight the progress made by Tripura’s developing startup ecosystem. Financial assistance will be formally handed over to selected startups that received support under Digi-SAPNE 2.0, marking another step towards strengthening the state’s emerging entrepreneurial landscape.
The Seva First Innovation Challenge 2026 is designed to provide a platform for innovative ideas and solutions. The initiative is expected to encourage young people to identify challenges and develop technology-driven solutions that can contribute to public services and wider social development.
Meanwhile, the Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana is aimed at strengthening digital connectivity among young beneficiaries. By improving access to technology, the initiative seeks to help young people participate more effectively in education, communication and other digitally enabled opportunities.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha is scheduled to address the gathering after formally launching the three initiatives. The programme is expected to bring together representatives from the government, education sector, technology ecosystem and startup community.
Information Technology Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, Higher Education Minister Kishor Barman, IT and Finance Secretary Dr Prashant Kumar Goyal, Director of IT Jeya Ragul Geshan B., and Sikkim Manipal University Vice Chancellor Dr Gopalakrishna Prabhu are among the dignitaries expected to attend the event.
The initiatives come amid the state government’s continued emphasis on technology-driven governance, digital empowerment and youth-centric programmes. Startup development has also emerged as an important area of focus, with initiatives seeking to connect young entrepreneurs with mentorship, financial assistance and institutional support.

The launch of Digi-SAPNE 3.0, along with the innovation challenge and digital connectivity scheme, is expected to provide additional opportunities for young people across Tripura.
