Shah Rukh and Rani have together featured as a lead pair in a number of popular Bollywood films including Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Chalte Chalte et al.

Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway, which also stars Bengali actor Anirban Bhattacharya in the lead, is a story of an immigrant Indian mothers fight to get back her children after they were taken away by the Norwegian foster care system because of culture differences.
