Bhuvan Bam opens up about the challenges behind Dhindora 2, revealing extensive rewrites of drafts, jokes and storylines as the popular series moves from YouTube to Netflix with a bigger second season.
Actor and content creator Bhuvan Bam has opened up about the challenges involved in creating the much-awaited second season of his popular series “Dhindora.” The creator revealed that bringing the new season to the screen was a demanding process that involved rewriting several drafts, jokes and storylines to ensure the show matched his current creative vision.
In an exclusive interview with IANS, Bhuvan Bam spoke about the significance of “Dhindora” in his career and his connection with the characters that have grown alongside him and his audience over the years. He said the series is extremely personal to him and that the release of the first glimpse of Season 2 was a special moment.
According to Bhuvan, the team has been working on “Dhindora 2” for a long time. He said the upcoming season is expected to be bigger and crazier while retaining the elements that made the original series popular among viewers.
“Dhindora is extremely personal to me because these characters have grown with me and the audience over so many years. We’ve been working on Season 2 for a long time, so finally seeing the first glimpse out there feels special. It’s bigger and crazier, but still has everything people love about this world,” Bhuvan said.
The actor and creator also explained that the new season reflects his growth and maturity as a creator. He said the story touches upon subjects that he strongly believes in and expressed hope that the new season will connect with both his existing viewers and newer audiences discovering the franchise.
“I feel right now it’s in a space that resonates with my current maturity level, and it also touches upon topics that I strongly believe in. I hope it resonates with my existing audience as well as the newer audience that’s watching,” he added.
The production process, however, was not without its challenges. Bhuvan revealed that he had to revisit and rewrite multiple drafts during the development of the season. The rewriting process involved working on different aspects of the script, including jokes and storylines, as the team sought to shape the series into its final form.
The second season also marks an important transition for the franchise. “Dhindora”, which originally premiered independently on YouTube in 2021, became widely popular for its distinctive characters, humour and storytelling. With “Dhindora 2,” the franchise is moving to Netflix, giving the series a larger platform and a broader audience.
Rohit Raj, Founder and Producer at BBKV Productions, also spoke about the journey of the series from YouTube to Netflix. He said the team wanted to expand the scale of the second season while preserving the madness and familiarity associated with the original.
“Taking Dhindora from an independent YouTube series to Netflix has been an incredible journey. We wanted to make Season 2 bigger without losing the madness and familiarity that made the first one special. This glimpse is just the beginning,” Rohit Raj said.

Netflix recently released the first glimpse of “Dhindora 2,” offering audiences a preview of the returning characters and the world created by Bhuvan Bam. Titu Mama remains at the centre of the new season’s storyline, which is expected to bring back the distinctive humour and chaotic situations associated with the franchise.
