The ED’s Hindi journal ‘Pravartan Sandesh’ has won the second Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar 2025-26 under Region ‘A’, recognising its efforts to promote Hindi in official communication and present complex legal, financial and investigative matters in an accessible manner.
The Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) Hindi in-house journal, Pravartan Sandesh, has been conferred the Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar 2025-26, securing the second prize under Region ‘A’ for its contribution to the effective implementation and promotion of Hindi as the Official Language.
The prestigious award was presented on Monday by Ministers of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar and Nityanand Rai during the Hindi Diwas-2026 celebrations and the Sixth All India Official Language Conference held in Mumbai. The event was organised under the chairmanship of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, according to an official statement.
The recognition marks an important achievement for the central probe agency and highlights its efforts to encourage the progressive use of Hindi in official work. The Enforcement Directorate said the award reflects its commitment to strengthening the use of the Official Language while making information related to its specialised areas more accessible to readers.
Pravartan Sandesh is the ED’s Hindi in-house journal and covers a wide range of subjects connected with the Directorate’s activities. According to the official statement, the publication seeks to explain complex legal, financial and investigative matters in a simple, effective and accessible manner. It also carries content relating to the Official Language Hindi and the functioning and initiatives of the agency.
The journal aims to provide readers with a comprehensive understanding of different aspects of the ED’s work while encouraging the wider use of Hindi in official communication. Its thematic issues have focused on important areas involving financial crime, national security, economic security, law enforcement and victim-centric enforcement.
During 2025-26, Issue 9 of Pravartan Sandesh focused on the theme “ED’s Campaign against Terror Financing.” The issue highlighted actions undertaken by the Directorate against terror financing and examined different dimensions of financial crimes and their links with national and economic security.
The publication also provided readers with a broader perspective on the ED’s counter-terror-financing initiatives and the financial networks associated with such activities. By presenting these subjects in Hindi, the journal sought to make specialised information more understandable to a wider audience.
The subsequent Issue 10 adopted the theme “From Public Interest to National Interest: ED’s Victim-Centric Actions and Relief.” The issue highlighted subjects including law enforcement, transparency, extended justice, restitution, economic security, Viksit Bharat and international cooperation and coordination.
A major focus of the issue was the ED’s victim-centric approach to enforcement. It highlighted the tracing and attachment of proceeds of crime and efforts to facilitate the eventual restoration of properties to victims. The publication presented these initiatives in an accessible Hindi format while emphasising the broader objective of protecting financial integrity and strengthening public confidence in enforcement mechanisms.
The Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar adds to the ED’s recent recognition for its efforts to promote Hindi and innovation. Earlier, in 2024, the Directorate secured the third prize in the All India Hindi Short Film Making Competition on Artificial Intelligence, organised by the Department of Official Language under the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The latest award therefore underscores the ED’s continued efforts to promote Hindi through journals, creative initiatives and official communication while presenting complex subjects related to financial investigations and enforcement in a reader-friendly manner.
