Brent crude surged to a four-month high of 108.77 US dollars a barrel today amid escalating West Asia tensions. Brent was trading at 107.75 US dollar a barrel after gaining more than 12 per cent over the past week, amid concerns over global energy supplies.
The duration of the West Asia conflict and the sustainability of elevated crude prices will remain key factors for India’s economic outlook.
