On the third day of the Global Fintech Fest 2026 in Mumbai, Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said country’s fintech revolution is inseparable from its connectivity revolution. Speaking at the Global Fintech Fest 2026, Mr. Scindia said the emergence of AI, quantum computing, quantum cryptography and tokenisation is changing the nature of finance. However, he stressed that connectivity and trust are essential for digital finance to scale.
Earlier in the day, Reserve Bank of India Governor Sanjay Malhotra and SEBI Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey stressed the responsible use of Agentic AI, tokenisation and quantum technology in banking and financial markets. Former UIDAI Chairman Nandan Nilekani and State Bank of India Chairman C. S. Setty also addressed sessions on Agentic AI, tokenisation and quantum technology.
