BJP National General Secretary Biplab Kumar Deb launches nationwide Seva Sankalp outreach to strengthen grassroots organization, engage workers and citizens, and boost party activities from booth level across India.
BJP National General Secretary and Member of Parliament Biplab Kumar Deb has announced the launch of a month-long nationwide outreach programme, ‘Seva Sankalp’, aimed at strengthening the party’s organizational network and expanding its engagement with people at the grassroots level.
Speaking at the BJP state office in Agartala, Deb said the initiative has been designed to deepen the connection between BJP workers and ordinary citizens while further consolidating the party’s organizational structure from the booth level upwards. The programme is expected to involve party workers across the country in coordinated grassroots activities.
Deb said extensive preparations have already been undertaken within the party for the successful implementation of ‘Seva Sankalp’. According to him, detailed discussions have been held regarding the programme’s objectives, planning and execution. A two-day seminar was also recently organized at the BJP headquarters to familiarize party workers with the purpose, framework and operational aspects of the initiative.
The BJP leader further stated that responsibilities related to different components of the programme have already been assigned to designated leaders. Monitoring mechanisms will operate at both the state level and under the supervision of the party’s top leadership to ensure that the programme is implemented effectively across different regions.
Emphasizing the importance of grassroots experience in organizational politics, Deb referred to the political journey of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He highlighted how Modi had worked extensively within the party organization before eventually assuming the country’s highest constitutional office.
“When a worker rises from the booth level to the top, he carries with him a direct understanding of grassroots realities. That experience becomes invaluable for the entire organization,” Deb said.
Deb urged BJP workers to draw inspiration from this organizational journey and remain committed to sustained work at the grassroots. He stressed that direct engagement with people and an understanding of local issues are essential for building a strong and responsive political organization.
The ‘Seva Sankalp’ programme is expected to provide BJP workers with an opportunity to intensify their interaction with citizens and strengthen organizational activities at the local level. The initiative also seeks to generate greater enthusiasm among party workers by encouraging collective participation in the party’s grassroots outreach efforts.
Expressing confidence in the programme, Deb said BJP workers across the country would collectively carry ‘Seva Sankalp’ to the grassroots and contribute to strengthening the organization. He said the nationwide initiative would help create renewed enthusiasm and morale among workers while reinforcing the party’s organizational presence from the booth level.
The announcement comes as the BJP continues to focus on strengthening its organizational machinery and maintaining direct contact with citizens. Through the month-long outreach, the party intends to encourage coordinated efforts among workers and leaders while placing greater emphasis on grassroots-level participation.

The ‘Seva Sankalp’ initiative, therefore, is being positioned as a nationwide effort to strengthen the party’s grassroots structure and encourage greater participation among its cadre.
