In the Indian bullion market, 24-carat gold was trading 0.7 per cent up at 1,45,140 rupees per 10 grams, while Silver was trading 1.4 per cent up at 2,26,540 rupees per kilogram, a short while ago.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, Gold for August contract was trading 0.6 per cent up at 1,44,626 rupees per 10 grams, and Silver for September contract was trading 1.4 per cent up at 2,26,500 rupees per kilogram, when reports last came in.
