Tripura CM Dr. Manik Saha praised PM Modi’s 12-year tenure, highlighting transparency, innovation, economic growth, Start-up India, digital transformation, and inclusive development. Addressing a BJP press conference in Agartala, he said Modi’s leadership has strengthened India’s global standing and accelerated progress across all sectors.
Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Friday lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s leadership, stating that India has witnessed unprecedented transparency, development, innovation, and economic growth during the Prime Minister’s 12-year tenure. He said the country has emerged as one of the world’s leading start-up hubs and development initiatives are reaching the last mile of society under Modi’s leadership.
Dr. Saha made these remarks while addressing a press conference at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state office in Krishnanagar, Agartala. The event was organized to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s completion of 12 years in office, a period that the Chief Minister described as a transformative chapter in India’s history.
“We are about to witness a historic moment. Narendra Modi has completed his extraordinary journey of 12 years as the Prime Minister of India. This journey is a journey of change, a journey of fulfilled dreams, and a journey of building a new India,” Dr. Saha said.
According to the Chief Minister, the last 12 years have seen the emergence of confidence, development, innovation, and competitiveness across the country. He emphasized that Prime Minister Modi has successfully enhanced India’s reputation on the global stage and earned international respect through effective governance and visionary leadership.
Dr. Saha noted that the Prime Minister’s continuous service to the nation for 4,399 days would be remembered in the pages of history. He expressed gratitude to the people of the country for placing their trust in Narendra Modi and enabling him to continue serving as Prime Minister.
“We have seen many Prime Ministers before him, but Narendra Modi has earned the trust and confidence of the people through his commitment to fulfilling their hopes and aspirations. His governance reflects accountability, honesty, and dedication to public welfare,” the Chief Minister said.
Highlighting the achievements of the Modi government, Dr. Saha said transparency and effective coordination have become key features of governance over the past decade. He praised the government’s commitment to citizen welfare and innovation while referring to the Prime Minister’s vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas.”
The Chief Minister further stated that Prime Minister Modi has worked relentlessly to realize the dream of a developed India. He said significant reforms have been undertaken across various sectors, resulting in stronger financial discipline, improved governance, and enhanced economic stability.
Speaking about India’s economic achievements, Dr. Saha said the country has emerged as one of the leading economies in the world under Modi’s leadership. He pointed out that India has strengthened diplomatic and economic ties with numerous countries through various agreements and partnerships, contributing to the nation’s growing influence globally.
He also highlighted the success of flagship initiatives such as Start-up India, which have fostered a strong innovation ecosystem in the country. “India has established itself as one of the leading start-up hubs in the world. The country is moving forward rapidly in technology, research, and innovation,” he said.
According to Dr. Saha, one of the most significant achievements of the Modi government has been ensuring that development reaches every section of society, particularly those at the grassroots level. He said welfare schemes and development projects are now benefiting people in the remotest parts of the country.
The Chief Minister also praised India’s progress in digital transformation. He stated that transparency has increased significantly due to digital governance initiatives and that India has secured a prominent position in the global digital economy.
“India is among the world’s leading countries in digital transactions. This reflects the success of the government’s efforts to promote digital infrastructure and financial inclusion,” he said.
Dr. Saha further noted that Prime Minister Modi has consistently encouraged youth participation in nation-building and placed special emphasis on sports development. He said the government’s initiatives are helping strengthen India’s position in the international sporting arena while creating opportunities for young talent.

The press conference was attended by BJP Tripura State President Abhishek Debroy, party vice-president Tapas Bhattacharya, and several other senior party leaders.
