India thrashed Bangladesh 3-1 to clinch a record-extending sixth SAFF Women’s Championship 2026 title at Margao, Goa, on Saturday. Pyari Xaxa, Lynda Kom Serto and Sanfida Nongrum scored a goal each for India, while Ritu Porna Chakma netted the lone goal for Bangladesh.
Earlier, India secured their place in the final with a 1-0 victory over Bhutan in the semifinals.
